If your degree program requires a computer literacy course, passing the first three exams (Computing Fundamentals, Key Applications, Living Online) will fulfill the computer literacy requirement. Your transcript will reflect 3 credit hours for IT-100.

If your degree requires CIS-100 specifically, you must pass all four exams to bypass the course. Your transcript will then reflect 3 credit hours for CIS-100.

If you enroll in CIS-100 or IT-100 and then, in the same semester, pass the exams for your required level of computer literacy, you will receive a tuition refund for the course.

Study materials for all the exams are available for use in the IT Department Lab in room 155AT.
